About Us

Bowman Park

West Brisbane Cricket Club was founded in 1921 at Bowman Park in the leafy suburb of Bardon. During that time we have competed in the Queensland 2nd Division competition of the past to the present Queensland Sub Districts Cricket Association (QSDCA) competition. In that time we have won many premierships and even had a player of ours represent Queensland.

Currently we have 2 teams in the Sub Districts competition in the B1 and C2 grades, along with a team in the T20 competition.

QSDCA Competition

The Sub-Districts competition is an exclusively all turf wicket competition played during the summer season. The competition is structured around 1 day and 2-day cricket games played in the afternoons on consecutive weekends (typically Saturdays but occasionally Sundays). The matches are played a the home grounds of clubs participating which from the greater Brisbane area.
